Sample Code

Please understand that demonstrating the creation of an application in a simple fashion presents a challenge. Keeping the sample code simple enough to be understood by someone unfamailiar with the concepts forces the example to be trivial. The code here is provided as an example, however without having heard the full presentation some of the points may not be altogether clear.

We hope that this code will provide a good base for those learning both basic and advanced ITK principles.

Please see Older Samples for the old (and ancient) versions.

We have been providing our clients a command line utility which takes a tag string as an input and outputs information about it like the type, owner, referencers etc. We originally wrote this program to help track down spurious messags in the iMAN syslog which referenced only the tag UID. Many others requested this program so we have ported the executable to 8.1 and atre making it available here.

A long time ago, the user community was seeking an application which would allow the Teamcenter Administrator to change the owner of Objects. Back in 2000, we wrote this application and are gave it away. Even thought there are new out of the box utilities with the newer versions of Teamenter, this utility still has some value if only as a teaching tool. However, like all freeware, use it at your own risk.

We also sell a version of this program which uses POM calls and is much more flexible and faster.
